Dr. Stephanie J. Bassin has been working in dentistry for more than 20 years. She first graduated The University of Maryland with a B.S degree in Dental Hygiene. Then after a few years she started a family and decided to return to The University of Maryland’s Dental School. With two young kids at home, Dr. Bassin completed her four-year dental program near the top of her class. She began practicing dentistry in Potomac Maryland, adjacent to our nation's capitol. 

After relocating to Dallas she joined The Dallas Dental Implant Cosmetic Institute in 2005 and began working beside Dr. Jeff Colquitt. Most recently she completed an 18 month internship in the fields of Implant, Cosmetic and TMJ-TMD Dentistry facilitated by Dr. Colquitt. Dr Bassin is now proud to be associated with High Point Dental. She continues to dedicate her professional life to serving her patients and giving them the finest dental health care available.

Dr. Bassin was raised in the Washington D.C. area. Her father was Chief Judge of the Federal Trade Commission and her mother a school teacher. She is the youngest of five children. Dr. Bassin is very proud of her two daughters Kelly and Brooke. Kelly is a recent graduate of the University of Colorado and Brooke just started her junior year at CU.

In addition to her passion for dentistry, Dr. Bassin is an amazing athlete. She brings a similar passion to racing in triathlons where she is a top-ranked amateur competitor and a member of Team USA. In 2009 Dr. Bassin raced at the Triathlon World Championships in both the Olympic distance and half ironman distance placing 5th in the latter. Meshing her two passions, she is a charter sponsor and co-founder of the Brian Loncar Racing team, hence her website's URL and motto: "Smiles For Champions".

With roots now firmly established in Dallas, Dr. Bassin looks forward to a long relationship with High Point Dental and her patients.
